The service
TimeCardZone is a free, browser-based time card calculator. You can use it without creating an account, at no cost, with no usage limit.
Accuracy disclaimer
This calculator implements two specific overtime rule sets — federal weekly overtime (FLSA, over 40 hours/week) and California's daily overtime rule (over 8 hours/day, double time over 12) — as a convenience. It does not cover every U.S. state's labor law, and it isn't legal or payroll advice. Overtime rules vary by state, industry, and individual employment agreement. If a calculation here affects a real paycheck, a payroll decision, or a dispute with an employer, verify it against your employer's payroll department, a qualified professional, or your state's labor authority before relying on it.
No warranty
This tool is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We work to keep the math correct, but we don't guarantee the calculator is error-free, and we aren't liable for decisions made or damages incurred based on its output.
Acceptable use
Use the calculator as intended. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, scrape or automate it at a volume that degrades it for other users, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Changes
We may update these terms as the tool changes. Continuing to use the calculator after an update means you accept the current version.
